Born from a revolutionary idea that racing excellence isn’t measured by speed alone, but by the courage to compete, the wisdom to strategize, and the heart to never give up.
NAMSCAR seeks to provide families, kids and adults alike, an organized and hands-on opportunity to simulate authentic stock car racing experiences by re-imagining the sport using 1/24 scale plastic model stock cars. Our mission is to engage competitors in a wholesome, fun-filled, and exciting new way of racing that—like real stock car racing—requires adequate preparation, tactical skills, hand-eye coordination, tenacity, and patience, all while engaging the mind and body in a spirit of friendly competition that fosters sportsmanship, inter-familial interactions, social skills, moral character, and spiritual integrity.
Since early 2025, NAMSCAR has slowly been laying the groundwork for what promises to become one of the most exciting—and even therapeutic—new ways of entertainment for kids and adults of all ages.
By Spring of 2026, NAMSCAR expects to be hosting official racing events at many locations across America.
In the meantime, be looking for local NAMSCAR orientations, demonstrations, instructional gatherings, and exhibition races at different churches and other venues, starting in the North Georgia area, and beyond. In addition to onsite gatherings at local church facilities and other venues, be looking for instructional videos and mock racing demonstrations that can soon be viewed on namscar.com. Also; be looking for onsite times and locations t.b.a. ASAP on our NAMSCAR FB page.
Subsequent to the remainder of 2025 being used for all the above, NAMSCAR will offer 4 seasons of point-championship racing every year—Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter leagues—which means participants will have 4 opportunities each year to become a NAMSCAR Champion! This allows NAMSCAR racers to participate in other sports, hobbies, and other interests, without missing the opportunity to go NAMSCAR racing in a calendar year.
Beside the fact that there’s never been anything like NAMSCAR offered to the general public before, it’s no secret that today’s youth, and adults alike, have too often had their lives adversely affected by lack of exercise and/or the sensory overload associated with our culture’s extreme dependence on digital technology.
Unhealthy digital attitudes, actions, appetites, abuses, and addictions, have helped create an unparalleled degree of emotional, mental, relational, familial, and spiritual, dysfunction in today’s society. In fact, all of the above are epidemic in America today—and now even systemic! This tragedy is a statistical fact!
The lion’s share of these tragedies stem from the narcissism, anhedonia, depression, anxiety, and myriad other disorders—including suicide and suicidal ideations—that digital addictions can too often foster.
Through this highly personalized, innovative, and interactive new sport of NAMSCAR, we hope to help reverse today’s lack of face to face interactions, the need for instant gratification, growing attention deficits, the lack of self-restraint, ingratitude, entitlement, anxiety, and the myriad other liabilities so common with digital abuse.
The components of this sport—from the assembly and set-ups to the actual racing of these 1/24 scale plastic stock cars—can even help rebuild critical, constructive, and creative thinking areas of the brain that have atrophied over years of digital abuse and addiction—and all while having fun with the whole family as they interact with other families!
Decades of research have shown incredible benefits that result as parents interact with their children, while interacting with other parents, and their children and other adults. This is particularly true in fun-filled environments! NAMSCAR offers all this and more.
So, If you’ve ever built a plastic model stock car of your favorite professional driver and dreamed you could actually race it competitively with other model enthusiasts, rather than simply staring at it on your dresser, NAMSCAR could make that dream come true!
Trying to describe the mechanics of this sport in print is virtually impossible; so, please be looking for orientation videos that are now being prepared and soon to come to namscar.com. These will help you better grasp the engaging new sport of NAMSCAR!
Join NAMSCAR and discover what it truly means to be a champion. Where winners don’t have to be fast to be good!
